It's no secret among friends that Rayanna's obsession with '80 &'90s action movies derived from her love of T2, and the legendary badass that is Sarah Connor! Rayanna spent her youth watching the likes of Bruce Willis, Mel Gibson, and Arnie save the day! But it was the inspired choice that was Linda Hamilton who changed the game and encouraged Rayanna to kick ass!
Growing up in a small Wiltshire town provided plenty of snoozy days which fuelled Rayanna's curiosity for people and play. From stage school to college, university to the professional world of acting, she remains based in London and works on both stage and screen, most recently turning her hand to writing.
Rayanna's first professional audition came at 17 for ITV's Emmerdale. She has since appeared on screen in the UK, U.S and Asia. She has taken the stage in London and Singapore, and worked on multiple award winning short & indie films. She often gets cast as American, due to self-teaching herself the accent from a young age whilst watching Beverly Hills 90210!
Rayanna is a West-country bird at heart and all about the drama! When she isn't up to her neck in nappies having recently become a new mama, she's reading plays, writing, and practising the art of self-tape! She also enjoys chuckling away at stand-up comedy, battling the mud at Glastonbury, and attempting to cook Lebanese food accompanied by a tasty glass of red!
Rayanna has now been cast in Florian Zeller's THE FATHER being staged later this year, and is developing her short-film BUMPS.
